We will be working together to create No Sew blankets to donate to ECMC at The Moose Lodge instead of our usual first Tuesday of the month meeting. For those who have never done it, we work in groups of two or three people. Spread the fleece blankets back to back on the table. Then we cut slices in the edge and double tie knots with the tabs. It isn't hard but it does take time. It's easy to talk and laugh while working. We need people to cut and people to tie. We need people to bring SHARP fabric sciscors. The ones in your junk drawer will not be effective. We take a break mid way and have food delivered. The Moose Lodge is not open to the public that night (which is why we can use their space and tables to work). But they have a meeting there and so there is the abiltiy to buy beer, wine, pop at the bar. Rotarians, Friends and others are welcome to help. We are hoping that this is something we may be able to get some Y.E.S. kids to help with.
